Who are we?Simply Connect Solutions Ltd (SIMPLY CONNECT) ("we/"us"/"our") is incorporated with company number 11321193 and our registered address is Kemp House, 160 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. We own and manage the Simply Connect for volunteering. We are a Data Processor and joint Data Controller together with Richmond upon Thames Council for Voluntary Service.
We provide Simply Connect for Volunteering through which the volunteering service is run, and we process your data together with and on behalf of Richmond upon Thames Council for Voluntary Service.
Your data will be given to us via this Site either because you have been in to a Volunteer Centre and they have put your data onto this Site or you have been introduced to this Site via the Volunteer Centre’s website.
Data ControllerRichmond upon Thames Council for Voluntary Service is a joint Data Controller with us and the contract lead on the Volunteering Service service. Richmond upon Thames Council for Voluntary Service is a registered charity with company/charity number 1075259 and the registered address is Office 7B, Richmond Adult Community College Parkshot, Richmond TW9 2RE.
The Role of Data ControllerAs joint Data Controllers we and Richmond upon Thames Council for Voluntary Service are together responsible for deciding how your personal data is processed and for what purposes. We will each ensure that we and any of our sub-processors comply with data protection laws.
Your personal dataPersonal data relates to a living individual who can be identified from the data e.g., your first name, surname and email address. We will process your personal data in accordance with the relevant data protection legislation including the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (the “GDPR”) (“Legislation”).
We collect personal data to supply you with the services you have requested, to identify you on our systems and for reporting purposes.
How is my information stored?Data is stored on servers based in the UK and will not be processed and/or transferred to any country outside the EEA or to any International Organisation without your prior written consent.
Richmond upon Thames Council for Voluntary Service ceases to provide the Volunteering Service serviceIf the Volunteering Service transfers to another provider or Richmond upon Thames Council for Voluntary Service withdraws from the Simply Connect platform, we will continue to process your personal data to provide you with our services and we have the right to retain your personal data further to our legitimate interest.
However you can contact us at any time to request that we delete your personal data from our system.
Simply Connect ceases to tradeIf Simply Connect ceases to trade we will promptly return or delete all of your personal data.
Who can access my information?When you supply your personal information in order to be referred to a service, you are giving your consent for Richmond upon Thames Council for Voluntary Service and Simply Connect to process your personal data in accordance with data protection laws and for us to share your personal data with the organisations providing these service(s).
Third party suppliers or other system administrators at Richmond upon Thames Council for Voluntary Service and Simply Connect may also process your personal data for administrative purposes. Otherwise, your information will never be passed on to a third party without your permission unless we or the Richmond upon Thames Council for Voluntary Service are legally obliged to do so.
What will my information be used for?
