What you will be doing

Greenwood Community Centre is a much-loved space used daily by local people for activities ranging from yoga and theatre rehearsals to social clubs and community meetings. To keep everything running smoothly, we rely on the support of people like you.

As a Community Centre Supporter, you’ll help our small caretaking team with a variety of tasks such as:
- Opening and closing the building for bookings (especially evenings or weekends if you’re available).
- Setting up rooms with tables, chairs, and refreshments for groups.
- Lending a hand with tidying and keeping the centre welcoming.
- Support with weekly tasks like fire alarm checks and building maitencnace monitoring.
- Monthly utillity meter readings
- Optional: light DIY or maintenance tasks if you enjoy practical work.

This is a flexible opportunity, you decide how much time you give. Even one regular 3-hour session a week makes a big difference.
