What you will be doing

Social media awareness raisers will create and edit videos about anxiety, that may be uploaded to YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. They may be asked to interview people who create content about anxiety, about their experiences and advice.
Some training may be provided upon starting your role.
You will be supported by the Social Media Awareness Team Co-ordinator.
Expected time commitment: 4 hrs a week, may vary from time to time.

Skills Description

The successful applicant will be committed, motivated, proactive, flexible and good at working with others. You may be asked to demonstrate that you have the skills to carry out the tasks of the Social Media Awareness Team. You may be asked for examples of your past work. You will need to provide a reference.

How Long Do I Have To Volunteer For?

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.

Bronze

Minimum time: 3 or 6 months

You must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.

Silver

Minimum time: 6 or 12 months

If you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.

Gold

Minimum time: 12 or 18 months

If you heven't achieved your Silver Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 18 months.
