Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate weekly peer-led Tech Hub sessions, both in person and/or online.
• Support participants with basic digital skills, including using devices, accessing online services, and engaging in creative or educational tech activities.
• Co-create a welcoming, non-judgemental environment that values lived experience.
• Encourage peer support, collaboration, and confidence-building through shared learning.
• Liaise with the project team to ensure the hub runs smoothly and meets community needs.
• Provide feedback and ideas to help evolve the hub’s activities and impact.
• To support administration function i.e. registers and evaluation feedback
• Connect to Tech sessions run on Thursdays, time can be flexible

Essential Skills and Qualities • Passionate about sharing skills with those with lived experience of mental health. • Have a good knowledge of using digital technology (e.g. computers, smartphones, tablets, email, Zoom, basic apps). • Empathetic, patient, and able to work with people from diverse backgrounds. • Strong communication and facilitation skills. • Reliable, organised, and a team player. • A DBS check will be required. Desirable • Experience supporting others in a community or peer-led setting. • Interest in mental health, wellbeing, or digital inclusion. • Familiarity with safeguarding and confidentiality practices (training can be provided).

• Valuable experience in community leadership and facilitation. • Opportunities for training and personal development. • The chance to make a real difference by empowering others through technology and connection • Travel and lunch expenses in line with RB Mind’s policies • References from us for future roles (after completion of 3 months volunteering)
