REMAP is a national charity that creates bespoke equipment for people with disabilities. We are seeking designers, engineers and craftspeople to work with clients to solve their everyday challenges

Practical Work & DIY

You will have design and problem solving skills plus the practical ability to create your deigns. These may involve carpentry, metalwork, electronics, 3D printing, etc. skills. You will have access to a workshop, tools, etc. You will deal directly with your clients, their carers and often be assisted by their health professionals.

There is huge satisfaction to be gained when you see your equipment or adaptation directly helping someone to enable them to achieve something they were previously unable to do.

You will be able to choose how many projects you take on and every one varies in time required depending on the solution you design. All we ask is that you complete whatever you commit to do.
