Voluntary Action Rotherham (VAR) are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to join our Volunteer Centre team at Voluntary Action Rotherham. Our Centre Volunteers support our appointments service, helping members of the public to find a volunteer role that is right for them from our menu of local volunteer opportunities on our website.

We are looking for volunteers who can offer a minimum of x2 half days per week (3 hour sessions) on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday (AM or PM). More hours can be negotiated on completion of induction and trial period).

The role involves a mixture of administration and customer facing work, responding to enquiries and face to face support. This is a really rewarding role and great for anyone looking to use and develop their skills in customer service and administration. We are looking for a friendly, reliable 'people person', with excellent communication skills and I.T. skills who can support people from all walks of life. You will need to be competent using; Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office packages. Full training will be provided.
