Information and Events Volunteer

We are looking for Information and Events Volunteers to help run information or fundraising stands in the local community to raise awareness, fundraise and to recruit new volunteers. This could be but is not limited to local fetes or festivals, community events, shopping centres, sports events and eye clinics.
Friendly, cheerful and dynamic, this role requires someone who really enjoys engaging with the general public, meeting new people and has strong communication and interpersonal skills. A great team player, this role would ideally suit someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and who is prepared to get stuck in! The confidence to use your own initiative is essential as is the ability to follow instruction when necessary.
We’ll provide you with full training, a buddy until you feel confident to run an information stand on your own and a toolkit for each event.
