Debt Advice Assistant - Cannock

Penk Moneywise is a small charity, run entirely by volunteers. We have been giving free face-to-face debt advice for 15 years now. Penk Moneywise comes under the umbrella of the national Christian organisation Community Money Advice (CMA).

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand for our services. Therefore, we are looking to increase the size of our team and recruit a Debt Advice Assistant who will:
Attend meetings with clients alongside a debt adviser and taking notes.
Type up meeting notes.
Process confidential client paperwork.
Assist with administrative duties related to client casework, including using an online computer system (training provided).
Treat every individual with dignity and respect.

By assisting with the administrative duties that arise through advice casework, you will be helping us improve our debt advice service and you will be playing a vital role in improving the financial resilience of vulnerable people in the community. You'll need to be a compassionate and empathetic individual, but no other experience is required.
