To attend and help with the Epsom Downs Walk for Health.
This is a gentle 60 minutes walk on Epsom Downs every Thursday at 11am starting from the Beefeater at Tattenham Corner. It is open to everyone and is run by Mary Frances Trust on behalf of the Walks for Health scheme.
The aim of the Walks for Health scheme is to support people with their emotional and physical wellbeing.
We are looking for volunteers who are happy to welcome walkers and to walk and chat along the way. All walks are led by a trained walk leader. We have a walk helper rota so you do not need to help every week.
Walk Start point is outside the Beefeater, Tattenham Corner, Epsom Downs
The Beefeater Pub is on Tattenham Crescent overlooking Epsom Downs racecourse. There is a free public car park opposite the pub.
It is a 10 minute walk from Tattenham Corner Railway Station and is near a number of bus routes.
Friendly, welcoming personality, happy to walk in all weathers
Being part of a small, friendly team.
There is the potential to become a trained walk leader and to attend training courses run by the Mary Frances Trust for their volunteers.
