Come and help pack fruit and veg with a team of friendly volunteers on our lovely farm!Sutton Community Farm is a community enterprise that sells fresh fruit and veg via an online farm shop. Volunteers help weigh, pack and portion all the fruit and veg that is delivered every week.Volunteer sessions are three hours long and take place in our lovely new barn. Physical ability to do the tasks, volunteering involves standing and moving around for the duration of the three hour sessions

Three hour volunteer sessions either in the morning or afternoon. Very flexible set-up: you can self-manage how often / when you come to volunteer.

We have two entrances – one on Woodmansterne Lane (our main entrance) and one on Telegraph Track.
This entrance is directly opposite Flitton’s Plant Nursery – 51 Woodmansterne Lane SM6 0SW
Walk through our gate in the hedge and follow the woodchip path to our main area of activity
If you are driving, please park on Woodmansterne Lane
We are working in a barn that is in the middle of a field, we are not wheelchair accessible.
You will be asked to log in or register your details
We welcome older volunteers.
Social distancing, working in a well-ventilated space, hand washing facilities.

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.
Minimum time: 3 or 6 monthsYou must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.
Minimum time: 6 or 12 monthsIf you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.
Minimum time: 12 or 18 monthsIf you heven't achieved your Silver Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 18 months.
