• Make History: Play a crucial role in evaluating Sutton's first-ever Literary Festival, shaping its legacy and future.
• Diverse Data Collection: Engage in a variety of data collection methods, including surveys, interviews, and case studies, gathering insights from festival participants like writers and performers.
• Direct Audience Interaction: Connect with the audience to collect meaningful data with digital technologies, helping to assess the festival's impact.
• Collaborative Experience: Collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals from the realms of research, creative writing, and technology.

The volunteer roles start from May 2024. Your contributions will provide critical feedback, identifying the festival's strengths and areas for improvement, thereby influencing the future of cultural events in Sutton.

How Long Do I Have To Volunteer For?

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.

Bronze

Minimum time: 3 or 6 months

You must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.

Silver

Minimum time: 6 or 12 months

If you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.

Gold

Minimum time: 12 or 18 months

If you heven't achieved your Silver Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 18 months.
