We are looking for volunteers to join our befriending service to offer support, reassurance and friendship over the phone to vulnerable people in Islington who may be in social-isolation and experiencing increased anxiety and loneliness.

In the current climate with many individuals and families following Government guidelines by practicing social distancing and self-isolating - it’s crucial that although people are unable to leave the house they still feel supported and a valued part of the community. Volunteers will be matched with individuals and will be expected to phone them regularly, usually once or twice a week for an hour.
