Carer Volunteer

As a volunteer carer you would help our group members in a number of ways which include helping them to and from transport as they arrive or leave, making drinks for them and serving meals. You also escort them to and from the toilets (waiting outside).

There will be opportunities to sit and chat with them and help in activities such as raffles, Bingo and crafts. You will also have opportunity to accompany them on occasional trips e.g. to coastal resorts.

Some of our members may have additional needs such as learning difficulties; you would help them to understand the activities and enable them to take part.
