If you have an interest in the history of Sheffield and its Cathedral and enjoy working with children, this role may be for you.

You will have the opportunity to use your experience of working with children (e.g. teaching or volunteering in a school) to deliver practical hands-on living history activities. These activities are linked to the National Curriculum and will be delivered to primarily groups of KS1 and KS2 children as directed and supervised by the Cathedral's Events and Operations Manager.

To do this role you would need to be available on a regular basis - we usually get several weeks' notice for a school visit although occasionally schools book in at short notice.

The opportunity will run occasional weekdays from 9-3 to cover school visits - term time only.

An interest in the history of Sheffield and its Cathedral Enjoy working with children Regular availability - usually we get several weeks' notice of a school visit although occasionally schools book in at short notice. We would prefer you to have experience of working with children e.g. teaching, teaching assistant, volunteer in schools/university, uniformed group assistant/leader, youth worker.
