Canine Partners are recruiting Kitchen Assistants to join their friendly team, to help set up and assist with food preparation for events. We ask that you work towards gaining a Food Hygiene certificate; we will provide in-house support and training. If you already have a food hygiene certificate…amazing! This opportunity is ‘as and when’ required basis, during weekdays and weekends.

What is involved

We require an enthusiastic volunteer to work alongside the Housekeeping team and help in the running of the kitchen. As part of the role, you will assist in preparation, service, and clearing up after meals. You will be working in a busy kitchen assisting with the preparation, cooking and service of the meals for a number of people.

This opportunity is perfect for anyone maybe looking to meet new people and pursue a passion with food. All food hygiene, health, and safety training will be provided.

You live within a reasonable distance of our training centre in order to commute (post code LE12 9SR)

Have a means of transport to get to and from the centre

Minimum age of 18

No experience required as full induction and training provided

Honesty, reliability, enthusiasm and positive outlook

Reliability and punctuality

Level two food hygiene certificate or happy to complete an online training

Self-motivated with the ability to complete routine and non-routine tasks as required

Friendly and outgoing with the ability to work on your own, and within the team

Able to work in an environment with dogs
