Be responsible for the running and organising of one-off or regular/semi-regular activities that support Rugby Eco Hub’s mission. This may include anything from: running a workshop on composting; running a vegan cookery class; or teaching people bike repair skills.

The activity you choose to organise will depend completely on your own knowledge, skills and interests - we would never force you to organise a particular topic or activity. The only stipulation is that the activity/topic needs to be in-keeping with our charitable aims and objectives.

Depending on the activity you choose to organise, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activity. This could include: identifying and collating resources; providing information to support the promotion of the activity/event; identifying any other support you may need drawing (e.g. support from Rugby Eco Hub’s operation’s team or other volunteers); and/or coordinating and communicating with fellow volunteers.

Being part of a fantastic team to deliver The Rugby Eco Hub's aims. In terms of support, you will receive an initial induction and ongoing supervision, you will always be volunteering alongside at least one other person (either one of the operation’s team, a trustee or another volunteer) and Rugby Eco Hub will support the promotion of the event as well as the recruitment of volunteers.

This will very much depend on the nature and frequency of the activity you would like to organise. It is likely to be between 4 - 10 hours per activity.
