What you will be doing

Help us change the lives of children and parents in the UK and beyond
When someone is struggling to provide for their young child, whatever the reason, a little help makes a big difference.

Your support will help make sure children and their parents have the clothes and equipment they need.

You will be responsible for collect or sorting donations, deliver care packages, or chat with families at drop-ins and open days.

All Growbabys will have safeguarding policies in place and you will be asked to complete an enhanced DBS check.

We need help on 2nd & 4th Monday of the Month @ Manor Court Baptist Church. 10.30 - Midday

How Long Do I Have To Volunteer For?

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.

Bronze

Minimum time: 3 or 6 months

You must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.

Silver

Minimum time: 6 or 12 months

If you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.

Gold

Minimum time: 12 or 18 months

If you heven't achieved your Silver Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 18 months.
