Step into the heart of Leamington Spa’s community arts and gift shop! At Lott Bazaar, you’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team, surrounded by handmade, sustainable, and wellbeing products.

We provide full training and a volunteer handbook, so you’ll always feel confident in your role. Our shop is relatively quiet and welcoming, with free Wi-Fi—perfect for students or anyone who likes to bring a laptop while helping out.

Core Skills & Abilities Basic people skills – being friendly, approachable, and polite with customers and other volunteers. Reliability & punctuality – turning up for agreed shifts, or letting someone know if you can’t. Willingness to learn – open to being shown how the shop runs, e.g. till use, restocking. Basic communication – able to understand and pass on simple information (to customers or the team). Handling money / card payments – not expert bookkeeping, just being comfortable giving change or using a card machine. Tidying & organising – keeping shelves neat, helping set up displays, maybe lifting light stock. Teamwork – happy to work alongside others and follow guidance. Nice-to-have (but not essential) Confidence using a card machine or basic till. Interest in local crafts, sustainability, or community projects. Creativity for making displays or arranging stock. Social media / outreach skills (if helping with promotion).

Volunteers usually do one or 2 mornings or afternoons a week, but we will also have the opportunity to work some evenings and sundays when we hold workshops

Addresses & landmarks Leamington Spa Station is on Old Warwick Road, Leamington Spa CV31 3NS. Lott Bazaar is at 37 Clemens Street, Leamington Spa, CV31 2DP. --- Walking directions (approx 10-12 minutes) 1. Exit Leamington Spa station onto Old Warwick Road. 2. Head south-east along Old Warwick Road, towards the town centre. 3. When you get to the Parade / Regent Street area, continue into Brunswick Street / Bath Street / High Street area (you may need to follow signs or map to navigate: you’re moving towards the area around Clemens Street). 4. Clemens Street is off the “town-centre / Old Town” part of Leamington: once you reach the junctions around Clarendon / Brunswick Streets, you’ll find Clemens St. 5. Lott Bazaar will be on your left (if coming from station direction) once you are on Clemens Street. If you like, I can map the step-by-step for you to follow with a map. --- Using buses & nearest bus stops If you prefer to take a bus (or want to know where to hop on / off), here are nearest stops and useful routes. Bus stops near Leamington Spa Station: Directly outside the station on Old Warwick Road is a bus stop ("Leamington Spa, opposite Railway Station"). From there bus services like 11, X17, X18, 77, 14 etc run. Bus stops near Clemens Street / Lott Bazaar: Union Walk Bus Stop (Travelling South) on Clemens Street. Very close to Lott Bazaar. Also Somerfield stop (very short walk), Court Street stop, Crown Hotel stop are all nearby. --- Suggested best route by bus From the station, get on a bus that stops at “Leamington Spa, opposite Railway Station” (Old Warwick Road). Take a bus going into town which serves Clemens Street / stops at Union Walk, Court Street or Somerfield. Get off at one of those stops (Union Walk is probably the closest) and walk a minute or two to Lott Bazaar.
