What you will be doing

Our shops generate income so that we can continue to provide care free of charge to people in our local community. We raise this income through the sale of goods donated to us by members of the public, and in turn promote the purpose of Myton to the people of Warwickshire. The success of any shop is through excellent retail practices and we pride ourselves on our customer services.

What you will be doing
Welcoming and assisting customers, providing customer service to the highest standard
Operating the till and dealing with various types of payment
Promoting Gift Aid, the Lottery and other Myton incentives
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

How Long Do I Have To Volunteer For?

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.

Bronze

Minimum time: 3 or 6 months

You must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.

Silver

Minimum time: 6 or 12 months

If you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.

Gold

Minimum time: 12 or 18 months

If you heven't achieved your Silver Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 18 months.
