Leamington Spa Competitive Festival

You did not enter a postcode in the search, or the postcode for this role is unknown.

The Leamington Spa Competitive Festival (“LSCF”) was formed in 1910 to organise an annual music festival in Leamington. A festival has taken place every year since then with only two exceptions. The festival is a registered charity run entirely by volunteers.
LSCF comprises nine sections (Speech and Drama, Stage Dance, Vocal, Woodwind and Brass, Organ, classical Guitar, Harp, Piano, Strings). Each section is run by a secretary, each of whom is a trustee of the charity, as are the Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.
The Stage Dance competition is held over several days, Organ on a midweek evening during May and the remaining sections in June weekends. The ability to help at some of these would be welcome. Most events take place at sites on the Warwick School campus.
We are looking for someone to be our first marketing/social media/new income generator expert as well as being responsible for producing the annual syllabus. It’s not quite as daunting as it sounds because we are a small organisation but we do need someone to find a few advertisers for our programmes and to sponsor a few prizes.. You don’t need to be a musician but a love of music would be good.
There are about six committee meetings each year plus an AGM in October. More information about the Festival can be found on the website: leamcompfest.co.uk.
