What you will be doing

To join other enthusiastic volunteer gardeners caring for over twenty areas of the town. There are weekly work parties advertised on our dedicated noticeboards in the town, on the website and in our newsletters. Volunteers simply turn up with their own gardening gloves, hand tools and green rubbish bags to weed, prune, tidy and replant as required. No skills required - just enthusiasm. Lots of support and free cofffee at each work party

Working with enthusiastic people, outdoors. Good for fitness and for positivity!! We get lots of grateful comments from people in the town who appreciate our work too

Time Commitment

Work parties are 9.30-11.30 - usually once a week with extras some weekends. Some volunteers garden at other times in specific places too. No pressure to attend regularly, just turn up when you can.
